International Dual Diploma Associate Program (DDAP)- In collaboration with the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA)
“Dual Diploma Programs” under the auspices of İzmir University of Economics Vocational School, organized in collaboration with the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA), will commence as of 2011-2012 academic year.
The following Dual Diploma Associate Programs (DDAP) are offered:
Business with Human Resource Management (No students will be accepted in 2011-2012 academic year)
Global Trade and Business
Retail Management
Supply Chain Management (Non Manufacturing)
Software Development (No students will be accepted in 2011-2012 academic year)
General Information about New Programs
IUE Vocational School (VS) will offer 5 new programs for the 2011-2012 academic year. These programs will be offered in collaboration with the Scottish Qualification Authority, and dual diplomas will be awarded to graduates. The Turkish and English titles of the programs are as follows:
The most important features of the programs are as follows:
(i) Each program lasts three years, including a one-year Preparatory Class (English) and two years of associate degree education.
(ii) Students who are successful at the end of the two-year program receive dual diplomas.
(iii) Two diplomas are given: one by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YOK) and the other by SQA. The diploma awarded by SQA will be valid throughout the EU.
(iv) It is possible to get an undergraduate degree by attending the third year in Scotland. That means it is possible to get three diplomas over a three-year period.
(v) Intensive English education is provided over two years.
